Each year, about 55,000 women and 390 men are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK.
Today, we want to highlight some of the signs and symptoms you can look out for.
Symptoms include:
π’ a lump or swelling in the breast or armpit
π’ thickening of the skin or tissue of the breast or dimpling of the skin
π’ change in the shape of the breast
π’ nipple turning in
π’ rash on the nipple
π’ discharge or bleeding from the nipple
π’ pain in the breast
If you have any of these symptoms or notice anything that is unusual for you, it is important to have them checked by a GP.
