The racist phone pranking videos of ex Alberta AG Jonathan Denis and political operative Craig Chandler has caused a stir. Another name comes up with theirs: Allan Hallman.

Allan Hallman is a name in Conservative and Alberta politics few may recognize. His name permeates the #KlondikePapers. His function is generally vaguely described as a Conservative political operative and also as a powerful behind-the-scenes political player.

Allan Hallman, PC Party strategist, has filed a lawsuit against Stephen Carter for defamation.

Carter was supporting PC turned NDP MLA Sandra Jansen at the meeting while Hallman was behind Jason Kenney.

There was reported online and in-person harassment against Jansen.

Katherine O'Neill, the president of PC Alberta, suspended Hallman for comments he made on social media in December 2016 directed towards two PCAA members.

Packing the court?

One of them is allegedly a close friend of Denis and allegedly failed to mention an Emergency Protective Orders regarding a spouse on the Provincial Court Nominating Committee form. The spouse, I am told, was found dead in the garage. The now judge was living w Denis at time.
