5 years ago today the largest mass shooting in American history occurred in Las Vegas.
No satisfactory explanation was ever provided.
The FBI came back with a 3 page report declaring they found no motive, while the media uncharacteristically buried the story after like 3 days.
What the hell happened in Vegas?
Why did Americans so tranquilly accept a clearly incomplete narrative, and just let this glaring tragedy fade away from the public consciousness?
And why doesn't the corporate press or political establishment show any interest in investigating?
The only attempts I've seen have ended up censored.
Asking questions of the official story turns out to be 'inappropriate or offensive to some audiences' & thus must be throttled.
When the only journalist digging in is associated with InfoWars, it's understandable that most people take that as a sign to avoid the topic entirely.
I get it.
But it's an indictment of our media that there's no other outlet actually hungry to do real investigative journalism.
For now a mirror of the documentary still exists (with <10k views).
I have no idea of the validity of the conclusions but I appreciate at least one person is asking questions.
So if you find the official story questionable, here it is - for now, at least
Oh there was one other legendary investigative reporter who broke some stories in the immediate aftermath of the tragedy but unfortunately he was murdered last month.
Our press has breathlessly warned about a war on journalism, yet is quiet here. Weird this isn't a bigger story.

Despite over 1M impressions, these concerns driving many conversations in both ETH / BTC communities, & these specific issues bubbling up at official ETH dev meetings…
I still haven't seen anything close to persuasive that allays my concerns.
"Hoping for the best" is not how you build the future 'unstoppable financial system of the future.'
Hand-waiving is not a strategy.
Many people pointed to this thread as 'the best response'
Imo it's like a 2/10
1. Doesn't really address the point / is tangentially relevant 2. Argument (even if granted) doesn't fix USDC problem 3. PoS & PoW block production are categorically different
In 1975, the Senate convened the Church Committee to demand answers from our rogue intelligence agencies - the CIA, FBI, NSA, (and even the IRS).
The revelations of it were shocking, but 9 out of 10 people I know today have never heard of it 🧵 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Church_Co…
The most shocking revelations of the committee include Operation MKULTRA involving the drugging and torture of unwitting US citizens and servicemen as part of human experimentation on mind control;
Our goal at Cash App has always been to make bitcoin - the most inclusive financial system in history - as accessible as possible to the largest number of people around the world.
My own journey into bitcoin began as a new grad on a Wall St trading desk. It was there that I discovered my total disenchantment with the current financial system. I found myself asking:
>Is this really how the system works?
>Is this really the best we can do as humans beings?

De-platforming Russia from the SWIFT system feels like a real possibility tomorrow.
This would mark the end of the USD Global Reserve currency era, and kick off countless cascading externalities to the current system, and incalculably accelerate the emerging crypto-era.
Somehow all ZeroHedge 2011 comment section predictions continue to come true.
USD Global Reserve status, in conjunction with the US military, is America’s greatest tool for global control.
Short term it’ll serve the interests of those applying it and disrupt Russia.
But long term it will only accelerate the world’s transition away from the US and the West’s fiat money monopoly experiment, and usher in the next era.
