There are British "boots on the ground" in Ukraine, but no one in Britain seems at all curious about this, nor does anyone in the US, even though British forces are virtually always a functional subsidiary of US forces. Instead they just scream war cries like: "UKRAINE MUST WIN!"
The presence of British "boots on the ground" in Ukraine (not "volunteers," active duty forces) was first publicly reported in April, with only the most minuscule followup since. Including confirmation by Rep. Mike Waltz (R-FL) to me personally in July confirming their presence Image
Given the "enormous amount of coordination" these British "boots on the ground" are evidently executing in Ukraine, you'd think there'd be some mild interest in letting the public know what's happening in their name and on their dime. But, nope

If anyone wants to make the case that Joe Biden has not flagrantly deceived the public about US military intervention in Ukraine, let's hear it
Anticipated arguments:

- This is fake news
- This isn't happening
- This is happening, and it's good
- It's good when the government deceives the public into war
- Only fascists and incels would care about government deception anyway
- Blurgh blurgh freedom democracy Nazi Nazi
The propaganda, trolling, and enforced consensus around the Ukraine war issue has been so intense in part because it'll dampen the reaction to massive revelations like this. So expect very minimal freakout, even as the freakout over January 6 continues unabated for some reason

Biden is using a "presidential covert action finding" to authorize "extensive" deployment of US special forces in Ukraine, conducting unknown operations. The finding he's using is apparently at least five years old, and has nothing to do with on-the-ground military operations
The "presidential covert action finding" now being used to authorize secret US military operations in Ukraine originally came into effect during the Obama Administration to "counter malign foreign influence activities." Sounds like a Russiagate thing -- which would be incredible
Just ponder: if this Obama-era order to "counter malign foreign influence activities" was originally related to Russiagate, i.e., countering Russian-backed Twitter trolls and Facebook memes. And then years later it was used to orchestrate a literal physical war against Russia

Just to be clear, the NY Times says "United States intelligence agencies believe" that the Ukraine government -- which the US is massively funding, arming, training, and conducting joint military operations with -- committed a major assassination attack deep inside Russia. Great
Yeah these sound like very strong "concerns" Image
Now awaiting the usual suspects to strenuously explain why the brazen assassination of civilians in car bomb attacks is "actually good"

Congratulations on stringing together a bunch of words that mean absolutely nothing
There just is absolutely nothing remotely tangible underlying any of those words he just strung together. All he's saying is "continue the status quo" and dressing it up with bogus profundity
Snyder is king at making these incredibly grating pronouncements. Air of complete and total certainty in projecting unknowable future events, based on nothing anyone could ever possibly verify or falsify, because he simply made up a non-existent basis for this overwrought tweet

Maybe also time for people in the Think Tank world like @Cirincione -- who've spent their careers allegedly trying to reduce the cataclysmic risk of nuclear warfare -- to tell Americans the truth about what is actually happening, instead of hiding behind euphemism and deflection
If I seem to have a bit of a manic tone at the moment, so be it. What tone did people have during the Cuban Missile Crisis?
Because it was @Cirincione himself who announced yesterday that we're in Cuban Missile Crisis territory
