Overwhelmingly white conservative commentators are absolutely sure this is only meant to appeal to (the icky sort) of white people. But, it seems to be a good way to attract more votes from non-college men of all races.

All I can say is that, maybe people whose existence depends on the tax write offs of wealthy patrons shouldn’t diss industrial workers as privileged welfare bums.
