There are no -isms in Dharma if we are to talk rigorously. Bauddh, Vaishnav, Shaiva, Jaina, other Dharmic panths have almost always peacefully coexisted and indeed intermingled not just in India of course but in Japan, South East Asia, China and now in the West as well #Dharmatva
Indeed in a larger sense polytheistic pantheons have always been overlapping, evolving.
The interaction between Egypt, Greece, Rome and elsewhere in the incredible “Mediterranean” pantheons is also a fascinating example of this, before the area fell to monotheistic proselytisms.
Specifically, Japanese Shinto deities “Kami” are often in a symbiotic/protector symbolic relationship with the Buddha. Not to mention the Hindu Gods and Goddesses have their own local versions as well. Like Japan, Indian “heathens” had to “invent” “religion” when faced with “it”.
Babasaheb's 22 vows of Navayana Dhamma go against this grain insofar as they emphasise who *not* to worship. While understandable in his context, the Dharmic way is to prioritise who we want to worship not to denigrate others. That is the spirit of Panchayatana Puja for example..
But this theological harmony does not excuse away the responsibility of social harmony in any way. If even a few people are choosing to actively reject the Gods due to injustice - then we as a society and polity must work harder to fix it, all of us, not just this or that group..
Unfortunately, our Gurus have to take a lead on this and they are still divided on this. The same Sampradaya (along with many others to be sure) that comes up with the incredible Panchayatana Puja is still propagating the idea that Jaatis belong to Varnas, not individual Hindus..
If Jaatis belong to Varnas and not individuals (even though probabilities to belong to a Varna may vary with Jaati..), then General Manoj Pande, India's Chief of the Army Staff, is leading an Adharmic life? It is one thing for anon accounts to say so, another for our Dharmagurus.

I cannot emphasise how tricky these times are for the world, including India. We are very fortunate to have a sensible, solid leadership during this transition. Make no mistake - many are trying to destabilise this government so that they are forced to "adjust". War of attrition.
An internally divided India goes back to being dinner on the high table, and not well a diner.
Everybody wants more financial and manufacturing value-add at home as aspects of globalisation face a setback due to geo-economic reasons. Everybody wants their narrative to take hold.
Nobody wants the other to be (or at least more than themselves) energy/food/weapons and now Big Tech independent. It is a long struggle, and some tactical withdrawals will be needed. All tricks will be used to undermine a strong government at home. Any astute observer can see it.
I have said this earlier. Jaati per se is fine. Varna per se is fine. It is the exclusive overlap of both aka caste, which you can call Jaati-Varna though I don’t prefer either terms, that is problematic. How will that in any way reduce diversity of Hindus, their rituals, Gods :)
If by "Sampradaya" people mean "caste", they should be brave enough to say that instead of using these obviously misleading euphemisms. They talk of diversity within Dharma on one hand, and on the other hand condescend to speak about detailed boundaries of all Dharma/every Panth!
For the umpteenth time allow dual citizenship with friendly democracies. Criteria is completely India’s sovereign right. We have an incredible diaspora and we must give some the right to vote, own all property etc (but no right to run for election, sensitive government jobs etc.)
In the latest UK riots, India would have been able to raise its voice much more since many more Hindus there would have been Indian citizens as well (I am sure some still are.) Economically also, only upside. But there is one big psychological problem here which we must face..
..just like there are (some not all) PIOs who do not want to see India rise to justify their exit, there are some in India who resent the “betrayal” of those who left and do not want to “give” them anything. That is a very narrow minded and short sighted way of looking at this..
Where will growth/jobs come from is not a particularly helpful question to be answered directly. The more interesting and relevant one is are the capabilities for growth/jobs being created. If yes - then arbitrage remains a very potent motive for humans of almost all backgrounds.
How will the jobs be created and where will the growth come from suggest an omniscience that no one actually has.
But what we do know are the trends and the ballpark reasons for said trends. Within just that there is a lot of intelligent analysis that can be done if we so wish..
Could anyone with any conviction 30+ years ago have imagined scale of our IT/related exports today? When we were forced to liberalise we had no idea where the extra growth would come from, or if it would come. It didn’t come from manufacturing to extent as may have been imagined.
Death sentence commuted to twenty years. Good luck deterring heinous crime (rape and murder of a child’s with such a “humanitarian” approach.
‘imprisonment for the remainder of appellant's natural life would have been an appropriate sentence, however, we are reminded of what Oscar Wilde has said..’
I shudder to think about this criminal being allowed back in society after he has raped and killed a four year old child.
This is the Wilde quote the judges used
“The only difference between the saint and the sinner is that every saint has a past and every sinner has a future”
To say the “only” difference between a murderer-rapist and an average citizen is a matter of perspective is moral nihilism
Do local executives now need the highest court’s permission to raze illegal structures? What kind of jurisprudence is this?
The point is regularising is not a right. It is a prerogative of the elected government.
And any appeal against demolition must go through a hierarchy of courts. This direct to SC politically selective approach will be called out.
Finally, any other issue might bring focus to the illegal structures - but if the structures (and/or residents) are illegal, they are. You do not say do not punish this criminal if you cannot punish all criminals do you?
