Madam Clerk was asked how her salary had an increased of 20% in her salary. She doesn’t know why that percentage is high and would ask the right department of that 20% increase
2023 budget will be going down compare to last years budget 2022. Going down by $150k, why? Because a plan proposal didn’t go through
Alderman asked how many city stickers have been sold this year. No number was provided however data will be re collected.
Going over salary of policy analyst.
Going over that the city key should be in different languages. An alderman was stopped by a Haitian family and had a Spanish application and wasn’t able to understand. He suggests that applications should be accessible to everyone in every language
Madam chair asking of people with disabilities if they pay reduce costs or can their costs be reduced in regards to stickers.
No discounts are available to disability people however would like to work on a plan to make that happen
Alderman Moore, proposes that caregivers should have reduced CTA/transportation fare to their destinations. Also he proposes that text alerts should continue. Projected revenue for 2023 , 132 million dollars
Going back to stickers , so far 766k sold. No difference from last year. Also revenue still the same from Stickers.
Madam clerk going over $200 tickets. Proposing getting rid off high fines so people won’t get the boot. Not many people have that much amount of money in their bank account. Also late fees should be reconsider too. Late fees revenue are $7-8 million dollars.
Now going over filling claims. Claims can be filled at the finance department, city council division. Alderman would like to know how residents can file claims in regards to pot holes or damaged basements from water flooding.
Department of law will receive and approve these claims.
Alderman asking to get in writing in how to obtain the instructions on how residents can file claims.

Not many school scholarships are being distributed to high school students. Madam treasurer is suggesting and asking for more scholarships
Madam treasurer going over the increases of salary. Alderman’s are pointing out on how committee of treasurer are receiving. Also, mayor Lori lightfoot doesn’t seem like she’ll be receiving a raise

Pension funds are being discussed. A good job has been done by the treasurer committee and alderman is appreciating madam treasurer for her hard work

CPD (Chicago police department ) working with employees on getting better career progression: more opportunities for CPD members
CPD will have promotional for recruitment in diversity communities / also goes to then Chicago fire department
The Human Resources committee wants to have applicants to be apart of EMT /CPD/ and fire department. Questions they’re going over are on how many people have left the Chicago police department. Also going over the amount of auto theft that is going on with the city
90 new hires in the CPD within this year. Also they have lost a lot of candidate through out the process because of how long the process take. However the department is working on switching the system and making the process quicker so they won’t lose candidates
Question that was ask is what the Human Resources department would Improve on:
