People with an intellectual disability are called the R-word, and other slurs while out in public and online. #DisabilityRC

I've been told to leave public pools, that I shouldn't be out in public, that I'm disgusting to look at, that I shouldn't be on public transport. I make jokes that 'I always get a seat to myself on the train' but it doesn't feel ok at all. #DisabilityRC
