WATCH: Mississippi Moral Monday Wave 2 | Poor People's Campaign twitter.com/i/broadcasts/1…
Somebody has been hurting our people and it’s gone on far too long.

Somebody is poisoning our water and it’s gone on far too long.

& We won’t be silent anymore!
There are forces that have never wanted this city to be run by a strong black, brown, white coalition that cared about all the people!
This country waited 250 years to end slavery, we're waiting 13 years for a minimum wage increase, 9 years to renew the Voting Rights Act - we have waited long enough!
The Mississippi Constitution says the people have the exclusive right to regulate the government.. & whenever the government doesn't do what is necessary for their safety and their happiness, the people have a right to alter and abolish that government.
I'm announcing today that we've decided.. we will file a Fair Housing Legal Complaint against what the Mississippi government has done to the people of this state. When you deny people access to clean water you are violating their fair housing rights!
"Water is essential to life, without it life can't exist. How are we supposed to focus if we can't even brush our teeth?! We have to get the infrastructure together and push together." Isaiah McCoy @JxnPeoples
"Government officials ignore us because of how impoverished we are. If it were your child that had to drink contaminated water, what would you do?" - Sabrina Howard

We need urgency right now! #JacksonWaterCrisis #OurVotesAreDemands
There are forces that want what is happening in Jackson localized.. God wants this public because it will give people in cities around the country the courage to stand up!
"It's.. like oil mixed with alcohol and you can't boil that away. We have to remove our labels and politics & get busy! Don't go to sleep, wake up, stand up, and let's continue to move this in the right direction!" - Dr. Berthrun Mock-Muhammad
