(1/5) It was great to be in Issaquah with @DrKimSchrier today to talk with voters about how reproductive rights are on the ballot. Here’s a recap.
(2/5) I’m in this fight for women everywhere. I saw what it was like before Roe protected the federal right to an abortion, and I’m fighting to make sure we go forward — not backwards. My granddaughters now have less rights than I did — I will not stand for this.
(3/5) @DrKimSchrier has been in the doctor’s office with women who are faced with heartbreaking news about their pregnancy. Every single time, though, those women could make the choice that was best for them — Republicans want to rip that right away.
(4/5) Our opponents share similar views on abortion. They’re anti-choice and have supported abortion bans — with no exceptions for rape or incest. They’ll be a rubber stamp for the MAGA Republican agenda in Congress & do not represent the values of WA state.
(5/5) There is too much at stake in this election. @DrKimSchrier and I are fighting every day to protect access to abortion and birth control. Kim and I agree — politicians should not be involved in making a woman’s reproductive health care decisions.
