@India_NHRC Let me wish NHRC on its Foundation Day today. We fondly recall long relationship @peopleswatch @HRDA_India & #AiNNI have enjoyed right from 1995 onwards. Been a journey of accompaniment - very pleasant & cordial on occasions & extremely critical on others too. (1) 
We genuinely wish #NHRC on this historically very imp day. Chairpersons & Members come & go in NHRC but #HRDs stay on forever & always engage wanting only one thing to happen - that the NHRC becomes more diverse, effective, transparent, accountable and also independent. (2)
NHRC is a founding member of @AsiaPacForum & @Ganhri1 that it has also chaired on occasions. No longer time after 29 yrs & entering its 30th yr to only celebrate the day. @MaryLawlorhrds @cvoule. Time to demonstrate to global community. @hrw @UNHumanRights @DrAliceJEdwards (3)
