“Nosedive” was featured on Black Mirror Season 3.

Nosedive is based upon the concept of “Hyperreality”, proposed by french sociologist Jean Baudrillard in his book “Simulacra and Simulation”.

Even though the book was published in 1981, some of its proposals were almost prophetical, as we get closer to that state.
Social media highly relates to this concept (as exposed in "Social Dilemma", which I'll cover in another thread.)
