5 High Budget Methods To Go From 500k > 5M 👇🏻

1, Fluctuation Trading

Fluctuation trading is all about spotting trends on the market. A trend that I have noticed is that most days, the market is generally at its lowest at 3-5AM GMT, and at its highest between 9-11PM GMT.

Another trend is that when a promo is leaked to come, there is a lot of panic on the market in the 2/3 hours before the promo releases, and for a further 30 minutes after promo release.

How you can make profit
- Find a meta 100k+ player that you believe people will use in their teams
- Use Futbin or Futwiz to see recent sales, and find a daily high and low price (find the fluctuation)
- In any period of high supply or high panic, but at the low fluctuation.

Here are two examples. I also prefer to do this method with special cards, as they generally have less supply on the market. However, gold cards like Haaland, Ronaldo, Neymar, Vini all fluctuate nicely.

2. Icon Trading

There are many ways to trade with icons, but I feel like this is the best way for beginners.

Go to futwiz.com and find any icon.

Click on the ‘sold prices’ tab and you will get a list of all prices that the icons have sold at on the market.

From this, you can find a high and a low point, just like fluctuation trading.

From these sale prices, I can deduct that his high point is around 355k, and his low point is around 325k. Buying at 325 and selling at 355 is a 12.5k profit.

12.5k profit on a 355k card is not huge, but it helps you to understand the prices of these cards.

You should research 25-30 icon cards using futwiz, finding high and low points. Write them down and keep a note everyday of high/low points, aiming to make 10% profit per card.

You can use your researched prices during times of high supply. Search for each icon individually on the market, and you will find deals on these icons. This also works for heroes for two reasons.

Icons/heroes have low supply, and have 3 chemistry regardless of their links.

Some cards do not fluctuate as well as others, but you will see this when looking at prices. Avoid cards that cannot give you 10% profit after tax.

3. Substitute Trading

This method is a little riskier but has good upside.

A new promo has arrived with a player SBC. The player SBC is a Jonathan Clauss 88 rated card with great card stats. Because of this, Ferland Mendy, Theo Hernandez and Emmanuel Petit take a big price hit

Mendy, Hernandez and Petit drop by 25% each, however the Clauss SBC is only available for one week.

The SBC is expensive and comes in at around 250k.

In theory, what should happen is if completion for Clauss SBC is low, once it has expired Mendy, Theo and Petit should rise

to within 5-10% of their initial price, as people cannot complete the SBC anymore.

Now, the reason this is a little riskier is because there may be a high completion % of the Clauss SBC, causing less demand for the other French LB’s.

You also have to consider other alternative cards people can use. Are there any better Ligue 1 LB’s? What other positions can Clauss play? Can he play RB? If so, French LB’s may rise but the RB’s might take a hit. There is a lot to consider when substitute trading.

4. OTW Trading

Many people will trade with OTW’s differently, but here is how I do it.

Check the next batch of fixtures and look for a favourable matchup for any OTW card. Last weekend, Dybala played at home against a struggling Lecce side. I bought 4x Dybala @ 140k on

Thursday evening. I held them all the way until the lineup was announced. Dybala was starting. By that point he was 160k. I sold my Dybala for 160k, and made 12k profit per card. However, if I would’ve held Dybala through the game I would’ve lost coins.

Dybala got injured, and even though he scored, he scored a penalty. He did get a slight increase to 170k after scoring, but died to 120k minutes later after being taken off with a serious injury - hence why this method is risky.

So, if you find a OTW player with a good matchup, follow these steps.

Buy 2-3 days before the game on a low fluctuation
Sell once the lineup is announced for a nice passive profit.

Do not hold through the game unless you are happy to risk losing coins.

Here is an example of me doing this with Bale OTW. He was not predicted to start this game as he was on the bench previously. 40-50k profit per card. Sold all pre kick off. He dropped to 220k after the game after no G/A.

Another tip with OTW’s. If they are going to get a TOTW card or get an upgrade, never, ever, ever hold them through the upgrade. They always die in price. Sell in the hype.

5. Fodder Investing

This is a tried and tested method which is great for the casual player that doesn’t mind sitting on cards for a few weeks.

Right now, 86-89 rated cards are low in comparison to the heights that they reach in November.

Why November?

We normally see gamble icon SBC’s around this time, and people go crazy for them.

There are two variables to consider this year, however.

- Unassigned has been patched, so traders can’t have more than 200 cards in the unassigned pile, unless they use a glitch

- The World Cup is around the corner, and a World Cup game mode could kill the market, as it did in FIFA 18. However, I personally feel like there will be no WC mode in FUT - there will be WC content and SBC’s instead.

If the second thing happens, then fodder rises with content

Here is Toni Kroos’ card from FUT22.

If we know anything, it’s that EA like to repeat themselves year after year. I would expect 88’s to reach 30k+ come mid to late November. 86-89 will also rise in price considerably.

Make sure you always consider EA tax. EA takes 5% from each sale.

You can use this calculation to work out your PAT

Sold price x 0.95 - buy price

E.g. 350,000 x 0.95 - 320000 = 12500 PAT
