In the Zaporizhia direction, the AFU is conducting a positional defense and reinforcing the troop grouping.
250 mobilized citizens have been transferred to Kamyshevakha to fill out the 9th Separate Special Purpose Regiment of the National Guard of Ukraine. 100 of them will be distributed to assault groups on the front line in the next few days.
Several dozen men are planned to be sent to Mala Tokmachka to replenish the strength of the 2nd battalion of the 9th Special Forces Regiment. Russian artillery struck a battalion stronghold and eliminated more than ten soldiers.
Due to the increased intensity of Russian Armed Forces' strikes, AN/TPQ-36 counter-battery radar was relocated to the vicinity of Odarivka. And to counteract the Russian Geran-2 UAVs, a Strela-10 surface-to-air missile system was deployed in Dmytrove.
In the Huliaipole sector, the AFU 44th Independent Artillery Brigade transferred two M777 howitzer crews and several 120 mm mortars to the AFU 102nd Territorial Defense Brigade.
Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to operate informants in the Vasilyivka and Kamianka-Dniprovska districts of Zaporizhya Oblast, transmitting data on the movement and deployment of Russian troops.
Additional fortification has begun on the right bank of the Dnieper: AFU command foresee Russian forces attacking Zaporizhia and crossing the Dnieper. The fortification should make it harder for Russian forces to occupy the right bank of Zaporizhia and reach Nikopol.
