This tweet is to bring to attention another accomplishment in BBMP's long list of accolades. Their hardwork, integrity and dedication towards their work and their city has left a deep scar in the hearts of our entire family.
BBMP's ignorance and incapability to improve the roads of the Kengeri area (Near Carmel Public School, main road of BGS Hospital, Kengeri Bus Stop) has claimed the life of my brother - Chirag Gupta, 21 years.
The BBMP is responsible for his and 26 other deaths in the last 1 month registered in Kengeri, all in the age group of 21-30. The BBMP Commissioner and all other leaders responsible for the development of Kengeri (Ward No. 159) have his demise written on their Karma.
It has been confirmed by the police that Chirag was wearing a strapped helmet. He was also well within the speed limit and due to a massive pothole on the road he lost balance and fell on the road and snapped his neck.
Bangalore has recorded the highest no. Of deaths due to pothole accidents in Bangalore. How many more deaths does the Commissioner and BBMP Kengeri Office (Ward No. 159) want before any actions are taken?
We strongly urge the entire team of Kengeri BBMP to be fired for their disregard to human lives and dereliction of their duty. The BBMP Commissioner must be fired for his inability to set mechanisms for continuous road developments inspite of never ending complaints raised.
Moreover, the condition of roads require to be fixed, improved and continuously maintained in the area of Kengeri and mechanisms are to be put in place to prevent more deaths in the future.
