S.T SOAP: The Fall Of A Promising Indigenous Brand

S.T used to be our favorite soap back then. But what happened to S.A? Why the fall?

(Thread)
In 1979 Alhaji Safiriyu Tiamiyu started what is known today as S.T Soaps Limited with the sum of five thousand naira (#5000), expanding from the corridors of his home to erecting a state of the art factory in Ijebu-Mushin.

Anigilaje In A Nutshell: The Man, His Immortality Ring and Mr. Death.

Ayinla "Ọmọ-Onídàkòmàna" Anigilaje Omowura Ibn Yusuf, a.k.a Egunmogaji, a.k.a Alhaji Costly, was from a special breed of traditional musicians.
One can't succinctly categorize what it was about him that endeared him to his fans. Worse still were his unilateral ways- a damn non-conformist, rancorous and a heady personality who like Fela Anikulapo-Kuti recreationally indulged in Indian-Hemp,
and mostly did things his own way. Eyewitness account related how he paraded himself around Abeokuta, with blood dripping from a nasty head wound- a fatal 'parting' gift from one Baiyewu, a friend-turned-foe, and a former band member on that fateful day of his death in 1980.

THE SHORT STORY ABOUT THE POPULAR PANSEKE IN ABEOKUTA

Why is it called panseke?

I'm sure, if you have been to Olumo Rock, you will know this. ImageImageImage
Panseke is a popular place in Abẹ́òkúta that links several roads like Quarry, Adigbe, Onikoko, Onikolobo, Mercy Road and OKe-ilewo.
Panseke was named after a Panseke tree. The tree is called panseke because of the buds that carry the seeds. When it gets dried and you shake it, it makes a 'seke seke sound'.

Yoruba language sounds like music. So some words rhymes like the Panseke trees.

"Hafeez, I tried taking pictures with my phone yesterday, but it's not as sharp as yours, what can I do?"

Hmmmmmmm... Learn what your phone camera can do!!! What do I mean? 👇 (Thread) Image
Start by taking some time to find out exactly what your phone’s camera is capable of. Analyse the auto mode and look at how it focuses and takes an exposure to light, this is normally done by touching the screen where you want the focus point to be, but it’s good to check.
Has the camera phone got the manual settings? If so, get to know them. Some cameras allow you to use more manual settings like white balance and shutter speed. These can help you to take even better photos when you know how to use them.

I passed through okeilewo after Jumah and I saw two identical twin which made me remember IBEJI ORAN.

Who are they? Can you remember them?

Taiwo and Kehinde Osuolale were the popular Yoruba movie twins who shot into limelight several years back Image
when they featured in the late Yekini Ajileyes movie in 1993 and thereafter became instant celebrities.

The physically challenged twins often called Ibeji Oran Mysterious Twins got married with kids (surprised? Lol, they're humans too)
In one of their interviews, they said "God created us. He created every one of us in unique ways. We have stopped feeling bad. We don’t allow what people say to bother us. We know we are unique beings. That is the reason we are using our life history to produce a movie."
