π·πΊ On low-quality body armor and helmets for the mobilized
The situation with the mobilized men and their equipment is rapidly improving. Regional authorities are getting involved, activists and concerned individuals are taking part. There is a response from civil society.
This reaction very uplifting indeed.
But unfortunately, when there is a shortage of personal body armor, even products that objectively do not have the proper level of quality are being purchased.
Mobilized men from Crimea and Sevastopol were issued a Modul-Monolit "bulletproof vests" and Kolpak-20 protective helmets. To understand what these are,we suggest watching a review where these products get shot through.
π»In brief: the "bulletproof vest" can be fully penetrated by a standard 5.45 caliber steel-core bullet and absolutely does not offer the claimed level of protection.
A hit from a pistol on the "protective helmet" will cause one's head to burst.
We would like to believe that those who made the decision to supply our comrades with these products were misled by the suppliers and the situation will be rectified.
In early November in Kosovo and Metohija, a new escalation of the already difficult situation is possible. Starting November 1, all cars of the inhabitants of the self-proclaimed republic that are not registered in accordance with Kosovo authorities will be outlawed.
When entering Kosovo and Metohija, drivers from Serbia were forced to cover up Serbian state symbols, and Kosovo Albanians traveling to central Serbia were forced to hide the coat of arms of the self-proclaimed republic.

π½π°π·πΈ During another address to the nation, Aleksandar Vucic yesterday spoke in detail about the demands put forward by the Kosovo Albanians during negotiations in Brussels.
Among the demands: 1. Mutual recognition (don't let the word "mutual" confuse you, the Serbs should simply recognize the province of Kosovo and Metohija as a separate state and give it up)
2. The right for the self-declared republic to join all international organizations
3. The revision of previously reached agreements (which Kosovo authorities refused to fulfill all these years, as European officials looked the other way)
βοΈπ·πΊπΊπ¦ Situation in the Starobilsk direction

Ukrainian forces used one company of troops to conduct a reconnaissance battle in the direction of the village of Kuzemivka in the Kupyansk sector. The enemy suffered losses in manpower and equipment and withdrew to their initial positions.
Taking advantage of improved weather conditions, the Ukrainian command began to advance near Makiivka. The offensive utilized reserves and mercenary units gathered in the area.
π¨π« Situation in the Central African Republic
As of October 22, 2022.
Despite the stable situation in most of the country, small gangs continue to conduct guerrilla activities: raiding for looting, ambushing government forces, attacking mineral deposits, setting up roadblocks, extorting money from passers-by.
To combat armed groups, CAR authorities, with Russia's assistance, increased the number of instructors and pace of military training. Over the past month and a half the number of Russian instructors from Wagner PMC has gone up by 210 people, their total number has reached 1345.
A few days ago, revelations appeared online from the head of the Association of Defense Enterprises of Ukraine, Serhiy Pashinsky, about the widely publicized Bayraktar TB2 drones.
In an interview with Russian pranksters, he voiced that the Turkish drones "are not a miracle weapon" and added that almost all of them were lost in just one week of combat operations.
Pashinsky's words once again raised the issue of the ineffectiveness of Turkish strike drones in the military operation. And these statements do not come out of nowhere:
π·πΊπΊπ¦π€π‘ Judging by the video released from the scene, one of today's strikes hit the Kvartsyt 330/155/15 kV substation in Kirovohrad region.
The nature of today's strikes suggests that the intention is to break the 330kV power ring around the Rivne NPP.
The 750kV line continues to supply Kyiv, but the western regions of Ukraine, in the event of an effective decommissioning of the substations, will be held together only by the generation of thermal power plants.
Exact coordinates of the hit: 48.106304, 32.650836
And this amount of energy is not enough to power the entire railroad network in the west. This is indirectly confirmed by the forced transition of Ukrainian railroads to diesel locomotives.
