Its unreal that she did the choreo in 2 tries… after watching the demo less than 3 times from someone that isn’t even an instructor… and the dance is hard with multiple sequences… best technical eye in the industry.

I’ve been noticing, in most of the tiktok challenges shes doing, you can see her looking at the other person just like she looked at jaechan here toward the end. She likely learned most of the dances in less than 1-3 minutes, right before recording.

Not a lot of professional dancers have this ability, which is why I say she has a naturally gifted technical eye that’s near perfect with her training.

What’s most remarkable is that she quickly learns the choreography within 1-2 demonstrations/attempt, and then spends her 3rd demonstration/attempt perfecting her footwork, dynamic, and positioning in real-time.

Here you can literally see her do the choreo a bit delayed while eyeing jaechan so she can mimic each move exactly with accurate footwork, dynamic, etc.

She scans his entire form in one second and mimics it right after.

For comparison, you can tell she already tried to learn this choreo or spent more than 10 mins/5 tries on it because: she’s not eyeing wonhos form (shes in front) and she has already incorporated her own dance style after successfully copying the choreo.

In this clip, her company sunbaenim unexpectedly entered and asked to dance. He’s dancing at normal pace since he didnt expect her to try too. You can literally see her copy most of his choreo in her first watch, in real-time.

In this one, you can tell this is her 2nd-3rd attempt with maybe 1 or 2 demonstrations because shes slightly delayed and heavily eyeing Mashiro.

She’s dancing as good as We Fresh’s backup dancers on her 2nd /3rd try.

In this clip, professional technical dance judges praise Chaeyeon for standing out with her demonstration of a choreography amongst professional dance instructors/dancers.

All dancers had the same amount of time to learn the choreography.

Yes, professional dancers are usually better than idol dancers in terms of technique, freestyle, performing a choreography.

But no one can honestly say that Chaeyeon isn’t better than your average or advanced professional dancer in performing choreo.

Not only does Chaeyeon have a naturally excellent and well-trained eye, she also has idol dance training.

That combo means she will almost always perform a choreo near exact AND eye-catching.

It’s very rare you find any dancer with both.

Here she was 17/18. She’d only trained as an idol (with no focus on dance iirc, just general training) for about 3 years at this time.

This is how unreal her technical eye was 4 years ago, and it’s gotten terrifyingly better after pro training (WANT).

To close, heres Jaechan a bit stunned that Chaeyeon almost exactly copied the choreo in less than 3 mins.

Idk how long it took JC to learn this, but sequences of this level usually req 1 to 1/2 day of practice (for idols) to execute correctly.
