MCAS results are being worked in detail to present to the committee at the next session, would be more comfortable sharing more then, with the appropriate details #schcom1025 approx cost for audit about $40K, 1 member not surprised with results, was expecting more

The actual cost for the equity audit was approved in 2021 and was $24k. (Not $40k as referenced earlier) #schcom1025

The DEI committee is central to the work to be done, the DEI director will be doing the in-between meeting work as well. #schcom1025

The DEI work is an effort over 5-8 years, the goals as part of the improvement plan shown in these slides #schcom1025

The first tier is the expectation set for a subject or behavior, if a student is not meeting that first level of expectation, what do we need to do to help maintain level 1 and advance beyond the 1st tier #schcom1025

We don't know yet what the future goals will be, we need to take the time to work through the report findings, and see what makes sense to do now, and some in the future; as we do go forward, the goals of the equity plan will be incorporated in the improvement plans #schcom1025

M Benson, along lines of first speaker, methods and sample size, spent a ton of money on this disconcerting that methodology etc. was not developed in the discussion, what is the split between how many, and qualitative responses #schcom1025

K Thompson, has a well informed opinion on this and how it has come into Franklin schools, what is the difference between equity and equality? If it cost 40-50k (it didn't, updated during meeting as $24k) a biased audit of a left leaning organization #schcom1025
