From "Hope 1993" to "Renewed Hope 2023": The MKO and BAT Phenomenal
Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola (MKO) was an accomplished Chartered Accountant. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT) (@officialABAT ) is also an accomplished Chartered Accountant.
MKO chose Babagana Kingibe, a Kanuri as his running mate in 1993 presidential election. BAT has also chosen Kassim Shettima, another Kanuri as running mate for 2023 election.
MKO's campaign mantra was "Hope 1993". BAT campaign slogan is "Renewed Hope 2023". #RenewedHope2023
MKO ran under a Muslim-Muslim ticket. BAT is also adopting a Muslim-Muslim ticket.
Nigerians believed campaign promises of "Hope 1993". Nigerians are also aligning with the carefully crafted social contract in "Renewed Hope 2023". #RenewedHope2023 @AdewaleTinubu

Thread:
My name is Kelechi obijiaku, an Igbo from Imo State; Assistant Director in the Lagos State Civil Service and the Legal Adviser of the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency. In 1996, following my emergence as the winner of an international competition,
I was awarded a scholarship by the Lagos State government that covered tuition for D rest of my secondary education & my university education. Sometime in 2005, after the completion of my LLB degree from the Lagos State University, I had issues getting on the list for Law School.
At this time, there was already a backlog of law students hoping to get into the law school so a quota system was introduced & universities had limited slots. When it seemed that all hope was lost, my mother got wind of an event in Alimosho where BAT was attending.
