Bit of drama at the Nikolas Cruz trial just now: an old friend of his adoptive mom said she was surprised to learn Cruz was living with another woman after she passed bc Cruz's mom told her years before that woman's son had sodomized him. Hearsay objection. Court in sidebar.
Aaaand they just went to lunch. Guess we'll find out what happens when court resumes at 1.30ET
Judge just sustained the objection and is going to order the jury to disregard. Essentially, because Lynda Cruz is dead she can't be questioned by the prosecution on the facts behind that second-hand assertion.

Truly deranged stuff at this Trump camp press conference in NV. Matt Schlapp cites an unnamed "whistleblower" in a counting center who saw a Biden/Harris van pull up, unload ballots, open them with a letter opener, swap votes, and replace them — all apparently in plain sight! 🤡
No evidence for this claim, remind you! Just a guy somewhere! Ok!
They're now saying the whistleblower is too scared to officially come forward to Nevada's *Republican* secretary of state. Refusing to answer Qs on whether they will actually file any lawsuits. Truly clown car stuff here.
