Facts that you must know about #CarolynBryant Donham- *thread* Fact #1 : From the stand, at the trial of Roy Bryant and JW Milam, she referred to #EmmettTill as a “n***er man”… (cont.)

🔴Fact 2: She is NOT deceased.

🔴Fact 3: The night that #EmmettTill was kidnapped, he was taken out to a truck and presented to a woman in a truck and she was heard identifying Emmett.

🔴Fact 4:There was a warrant issued for her, on the grounds of kidnapping. It was never served because sheriff said that Carolyn had children. In June ‘22, the unserved warrant was located in the basement of the Greenwood Leflore Courthouse. Ms doesnt have warrant expiration law

🔴Fact 5: From the time the alleged wolf whistle occurred, until she took the stand, her story changed multiple times.

🔴Fact 6: From the stand, she lied about what Emmett allegedly said to her and she also lied about Emmett touching her.

🔴Fact 7: From the stand she lied about Emmett NOT having a speech impediment. HE DID have a speech impediment and walked with a permanent limp due to contracting polio early in his childhood.

🔴Fact 8: Emmett’s mother, Mamie Till Mobley, was not allowed to be in the courtroom when Carolyn took the stand.

🔴Fact 9: Justice can still be served. There is no statue of limitations here in Mississippi on murder, kidnapping, or culpable negligence!

🔴Fact 10: Her own former sister in law, Juanita Milam, debunked Carolyn’s story, according to FBI files. Juanita states she believes Carolyn made the entire thing up so Roy would stay at the store more.

🔴 Fact 11: This case has been opened and closed numerous times but it is ultimately up to District Attorney Dewayne Richardson to move forward.
It has been 67 YEARS! It’s time!
