background: right-wing PAC affiliated with Stephen Miller (aka "fivehead fash boy"); this target looks right-sized for #NAFO#article5 for a variety of reasons.
You're looking at a fascist right-wing American PAC - these guys are fascist even for the American right, and the American right is openly persecuting sexual "deviants" and calling for Christian nationalism in America.
They're running a recognizably Christopher Rufo playbook.
Rufo is a Republican consultant who invented the phrase "critical race theory"; recently, he called for rallying hatred against transgender & gay folks in order to get people to vote Republican.
Structurally, this is what's known as a "dark money" PAC. That means, it doesn't have to disclose its donor list, and it can take in arbitrarily large amounts of money.
That makes it a formidable adversary for a conventional operator.
Per OpenSecrets above, they are running ads targeting critical American states and Congressional districts.
This is a fairly smart list, in particular going at PA and NV.
PA, you may recall, is Fetterman/Oz (the TV quack); NV is essentially Proud Boys vs. a fractured Dem party
In terms of a target for #NAFO#article5, this is a very ordinary target for us.
We ratioed Karen Dotcom and Elon Musk; we just utterly demolished a 210k follower account (Parmesan Girl the Assadist).
They don't get enough interactions and replies to be a significant challenge.
What's really interesting here to me from the anti-disinfo viewpoint is three things:
1) how many algorithmic amplification assets (bots & spam farms) does it have? We know it's Russian-aligned, but will it have spam farm support too?
2) how much of a difference might it make?
and, lastly
3) given the relatively small size of regional news outlets (PA and NV have smaller media markets than the national news outlets that have already covered #NAFO)... is there an opportunity for earned-media coverage here?
We'll see. I'll go at some posts, at least.

The reason why trashpreneur #parmesanGirl is going through my followers list, and blocking anyone who follows me, is because of a fundamental lie of disinformation that she has to keep up: the lie of popular support.
Understanding it requires starting with the basics of disinfo.
Given unrecoverable intent, disinfo studies have a kind of lack of basis.
You can get past this pretty easy with data - and I'm a huge fan of data tools, you see me use them all the time.
But there's more to this than, like, counting tweets and scrolling timelines.
There are also basic felicity conditions that underlie speech.
Insofar as disinformation is an *intentional* act, it will tend to break one of these maxims, or some other unenumerated felicity condition.
Given its modularity and relative plentitude (we have about 5k in inventory and ordered 83 in Sept. 2021) I'm actually sort of surprised we haven't sent them.
So, I don't think NAFO folks - or for that matter, much of this Twitter audience - is going to be familiar with Meth Squirrel, a perpetually write-in candidate for Alabama's Republican Senate nomination?
