.@elonmusk has been the sole owner of Twitter for 48 hours, and is now using the platform to promote vile conspiracy theories against Nancy Pelosi's husband, who is still in the hospital after being violently assaulted with a hammer

This year the media narrative is that THINGS ARE GOING VERY BADLY FOR DEMOCRATS

It could be right! Or wrong!

In 2016, the narrative was THINGS ARE GOING VERY WELL FOR DEMS

And things went badly

In 2020, the narrative was THINGS ARE GOING VERY WELL FOR DEMS

And things were OK
Even AFTER the 2020 election, the media insisted that Republicans would win the run-off elections in Georgia and wrote DOZENS of stories about how Biden would deal with McConnell as Majority Leader

No one knows the outcome
To be clear, I am not predicting the Democrats will do better than expected in the midterms.

The Democrats could do much WORSE than expected

But I am frustrated that outlets continue to imply they can predict the outcome when we've seen time and again that it is not possible
