My community, majority Black, brown and Asian immigrant with working class white people and gigantic labor union presence is flooded from the outside with Zeldin signs. People ask me where they can get a Hochul sign and no one knows. No doors. No calls either.
One of the key advantages of progressives winning in the midterms is that they will have a ground game for the generals. So far my only contacts educating me on Hochul in this community is from @NYWFP who challenged her in the midterms. That's it.
We need to fill the gap left by the Hochul campaign and call each other.

When people mention Zeldin at the grocery store, it's not just the usual Republicans, but apolitical people who have NO IDEA WHO HE IS while intending to vote for the "change" candidate until they're shocked to hear his stance on abortion, guns, immigration, pay, poverty.
