Transport 🚗

BART: Bay Area Rapid Transit is our heavy rail that connects most of the Bay Area and is directly connected to the Airport and Westfield Mall. New trains have digital maps in each car and can easily be followed, very cheap.

Muni: SFMTA offers buses and trains that can transport you to most locations in the city with stations almost every few blocks for only $2.50 it's a very effective way to get around the city. You can either get a clipper card or MuniMobile App to make it easier.

8/30 ImageImage
Taxis/Uber: Pretty straight forward, you can call a Yellow Cab or uber pretty much anywhere in the city. San Francisco also has fully self driving taxis such as Cruise.

9/30 ImageImage
Driving: If you are renting a car, be prepared to park on hills and some of the tightest spots in the world. Driving in the city can be quite tough due to the windy roads and various hills, but not impossible just be careful.

10/30 Image
Cable Cars: An icon way to travel and see the city is through our cable cars at Powell & Market, Bay & Taylor or Hyde & Beach Streets.

11/30 Image
Bikes: The city offers various bike-sharing services such as Ford or Lyft that can be accessed from various locations either using the kiosk at the stop or via your phone. Fair warning bike lanes are for the most part well protected but often times obstructed.

12/30 Image
Attractions 📸

Golden Gate Bridge: Iconic location of the city (featured in the Worlds video) that connects the Bay to Marin. Can either drive or walk across it and take great pictures from either end of the bridge at the designated stop areas.

13/30 Image
Alcatraz: A former maximum prison turned attraction, you can take a self guided tour at the island or even stay over night if you dare.

14/30 Image
Painted Ladies: Anyone a fan of Full House? Well you can check out the actual houses from the show from across the street and get some iconic pictures in front of them.

15/30 Image
Twin Peaks: If you want the best view of the city then this is the spot, very windy but worth it as you can see the entire city after going up a very windy road. Careful at night there is no police/moderation up here later.

16/30 Image
Sutro Baths: If you want the best view of the sunset in the city, head to here and enjoy either the great parking lot (perfectly angled to the sunset) or walk around on the various paths right next to the water.

17/30 Image
Fisherman’s Wharf: Big tourist spot in the city fair warning, lots of souvenir shops and restaurants to go to and you can even see a bunch of seals sitting on the docks if you'd like.

18/30 Image
Palace of Fine Arts Theatre: Iconic spot for Instagram photos to showcase the stellar architecture, if you're looking for a spot to take pictures this is it.

19/30 Image
Mission Dolores Park: Most popular park in the city with great views of the city and is most known for picnics/drinking/lounging around all day, avoid at night.

20/30 Image
SF MOMA: A great museum of modern art located in downtown SF with 7 floors filled with 33,000 pieces of pure creativity. Usually has a few Instagram worthy spots, a very nice relaxed place to visit.

21/30 Image
Japantown: Historic location that houses many restaurants, shops, grocery stores, gift shops, karaoke shops and much more. Offers a great courtyard that is also great for pictures.

22/30 Image
Chinatown: Most established Chinatowns in the entire US, offering many alleys filled with various restaurants, bakeries, shops, and historic locations. Feel free to get some fresh fortune cookies and check out the Canton Bazaar for exports across Asia.

23/30 Image
Shopping 🛍️

Westfield San Francisco Center: Go to shopping mall of SF with over 170 stores and over 9 floors, if you're in need of anything you can find all your iconic shops here and it's connected to BART on the bottom floor making it easy to travel to and from.

24/30 Image
Union Square: Also located near Westfield downtown this spot offers designer shops such as Louis Vuitton and Neiman Marcus. Also shops such as Nike or the nicest Apple store ever.

25/30 Image
Stonestown Galleria: Shopping mall including many big names such as Macy's and Nordstorm along with a food court and various other restaurants nearby.

Safety ❤️

1. Never leave anything visible in car, nothing period. Car theft/break ins are a serious problem and I’ve had my car broken into for tissues.

27/30
2. Just like any big city, it can get somewhat scary at night especially depending on the location (AVOID TENDERLOIN/BAYVIEW AT ALL COSTS) are you in so use common sense try to stay in groups if possible and be smart.

28/30
3. Do not sit on your phone or permanently be on your headphones while sitting at a bus/train station.

4. Most drivers should have their licenses revoked, LA drivers are bad but SF might be worse with how people randomly stop everywhere and don’t signal for anything.

29/30
I hope you enjoy your visit to my beautiful city, my dms are open and I’ll try my best any questions or reply below this thread. See you all there 👋
