"The Shahed drones are very easy to fight when we are in range," says Max. The Gepard's search radar can detect them well, and the explosive munitions then make short work of the slow drones.
"During an operation near Odessa, ten drones were shot down within a short time. This countered the tactics of the Iranian Kamikaz drones, which are usually sent out in swarms to overwhelm the air defences."
