Someone said, "How can you be against your own country? How can you root for Russia? You're a traitor!"
This is complicated, so I'll break it into increments.
1. The US system has oppressed me for as long as I can remember. Then told me I'm not oppressed because I'm white.
2. I've watched the US and its vassals oppress, dismantle, subjugate, divide, and silence people all round the world since I was a child.
3. I was forced to pledge allegiance at the age 5 onward to a nation that has slaughtered and enslaved millions throughout its history.
4. I've been told since birth that Russia is a communist shithole. That China is a communist shithole. That Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, etc are nothing but barbaric terrorist countries. All of it was lies. They're beautiful countries rich in culture and true diversity.
5. I was 3 years old when the US invaded Iraq. I was 19-20 when the US withdrew from Afghanistan. I was 19 when the US shamelessly assassinated Qasem Soleimani. They bragged about all of it and found no fault in their actions. They acted like the deaths of children meant nothing.
6. I watched my school, politicians, leaders, and media lie to me over and over. They gaslit me and millions around the world, and up until now I felt alone in knowing that.
7. My family were Yugoslavian and Russian immigrants. Because of this country, Yugoslavia doesn't exist!
Almost my entire paternal leaneage has been lost at the behest of a nation that forced me to pledge allegiance to it! The same nation that bombed my family's country out of existence in front of their eyes and then told them it was necessary!
The United States is nothing but a war machine. Putin is right, this country has nothing to offer this world other than dominance. I've seen it. No amount of NAFO trolls, pronouns, political correctness, Ukrianian flags and wokeness will ever make me unsee this fundamental truth.
I stand with Russia because it is just another victim of US imperialistic attempts. I stand with Russia because they are grossly misrepresented for the sake of US foreign policy. I stand with Russia because no Russian has ever invalidated my existence or openly oppressed me.
Russia has become symbolic for resistance around the world, and I am proudly a part of that resistance. Слава России! #istandwithrussia
I did not expect to get this much reaction from this tweet. I truly appreciate the support and understanding from you guys. I wish you all well, and to those who believe, may God bless you. ❤️

Just 8 months ago, I supported Ukraine. 8 months ago, I defiled a Hollister hoodie with wall paint. 8 months ago, I fell for the mainstream narrative that Russia was wrong, even though I've vehemently supported and stood for Russia for years.
6 months ago, I stumbled upon videos and pictures of what Ukraine had done to Donbas and Lugansk. Dead children. Dead elderly. Dead young women and men. Mothers. Fathers. All innocent civilians who fell victim to the shelling and bombings from Ukrainians forces
6 months ago, I learned I was being lied to yet again. I learned the Ukrianian military was using hospitals, parks, playgrounds, schools, daycares, and hotels as shields. I learned they used civilians as human shields. It was all brushed off as "Russian propaganda."
