Mbazulike Amechi, Nigeria’s first minister of aviation, has passed away at the age of 93 years.
The First Republic minister d#ed in the early hours of Tuesday, November 1, his son, Ezeana Amaechi,
said in a statement.
“With total deference to the will of the Almighty God, the Ume Amaechi, Ezeana Ihidede families and Umu Mmara kindred of Amihe Ukpor in Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State announce the peaceful transition of our illustrious son,
father and grandfather, Chief Mbazulike Amaechi.
We thank God for the fulfilled life that he lived, the lives he touched and service to God and country,” the statement reads.
His de@th occurs about one year after he lost his wife, Chinelo Amaechi, who d#ed at the age of 91 years.

A High Court sitting in Bauchi State has sentenced a 23-year-old man, Musa Hamza,to de@th by h@nging for k#lling his friend for money ritu@l.
The convict, who was arrested on December 21, 2020
was found guilty of k#lling the deceased, a 17-year-old boy named Adamu Ibrahim, in Alkaleri LGA of the state.
After k#lling the deceased, he c#t his neck, pl#ck out his two eyes and p#t them in a bottle. He also b#ried his head and body at different locations.
The suspect initially denied the accusation against him before the court at the beginning of the trial, but later admitted it. He confessed that he was asked by a ritu@list to bring the eyes for money ritu@l.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested a candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) for the Kogi State House of Assembly seat,
Ismaila Yusuf Atumeyi, with N326 million and $140,500 cash.
Atumeyi, who is seeking to represent Ankpa 11 Constituency in the State Assembly, was arrested on Sunday, October 30, 2022 alongside one Joshua Dominic, an alleged serial fr@udster.
