The story of Joshua Beckford, a six-year-old child known as the smartest child on earth

Joshua Beckford is the youngest student at Oxford University. Joshua Beckford, a Nigerian kid, entered Oxford University at six and
graduated from the Department of History and Philosophy at the premature age of 14.

Despite having a high-functioning autism diagnosis, Beckford was said to be a quick learner. He was able to read, write, and comprehend the alphabet as a 10-month-old infant.
At the age of two, Beckford could read with ease, and by the time he turned three, he could speak Japanese. He is one of the smartest people on the planet.

Unlike his peers, Joshua was homeschooled and started learning at ten months
Beckford was abandoned 48 hours after his birth in London and was adopted by Knox and his wife when he was a baby. Beckford is said to be of Nigerian descent.

His father, Knox Daniel, claimed that he first observed his son’s intelligence
while perched on his lap using the internet. “When I began describing the keyboard’s letters to him, I became aware that he was remembering and comprehending.” He said

His father then wrote to the university in 2011 to ask if he might enrol in a philosophy course for
gifted kids between the ages of eight and thirteen in order to push his son. Joshua was the youngest student ever accepted once they agreed. Even so, he earned a distinction.

Joshua has also recorded remarkable success outside of academics as he is the
spokesperson for the Black and Minority (BME) campaign of the National Autistic Society. He also contributes to the campaign’s goal of highlighting barriers Black people must overcome to access the care and services they require for autism.
Joshua has also received various honours, including the 2017 National Diversity Awards’ Positive Role Model of the Year title. As a Low-Income Families Education (L.I.F.E) Support Ambassador for five nations—Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, and South Africa—as well
as the United Kingdom, where Joshua was born, he also represents the Boys Mentoring Advocacy Network (BMAN).

He also plans to be a neurosurgeon and has also written a children’s book about Egypt.
Joshua has unusual skills in 8 different areas. Maths, Foreign Language, History, Philosophy, IT, Art and Science and sport. He is on the autistic spectrum – Asperger’s (High functioning). Joshua was born in the U. K in 2005.He was taught at home from the age of 10 months.
He learned to read fluently using phonics at 2 years 6 months old, mastered speaking Japanese at 2 and a half yrs then started to learn Chinese Mandarin.

At 3 he was able to correctly name most cars on the road and what country they were made in.
He developed an uncanny fascination with the Human body and finished reading advanced books on Human Anatomy including Genes and DNA. Joshua now has a reading age of an adult and can explain quite complex concepts such as gravity and infinity.
He mastered naming all the internal organs of the body and can explain how the 12 systems all work together to keep us alive including the parts of the brain and which parts of the body they control.

He decided since he was 4 years old that when he grows up,
he wants to be a Neuro-Surgeon and possibly an Astronaut. He already performs simulations of Surgical Operations on his laptop using a Microsoft Surgery Simulator. He can correctly use all the instruments and successfully complete operations such as the
removal of a Hernia, appendectomy, removal of a cataract, varicose, and tonsillectomy, repair a lower leg fracture and perform a Cholecystectomy (surgical removal of the gall bladder). He uses Microsoft Flight Simulator to fly Simulations of the Space Shuttle
and different types of aircraft. He has advanced IT skills and learned to touch type before he could write with a pen.

ÀṢẸ in Yoruba

ASHE in North America (United States, Europe, Afro-Caribbean, Canada)

AXE in Brazil.

ACHE in Cuba.

ÀṢẸ, ASHE, AXE, ACHE emanated from the Yoruba Àṣẹ.
There are now attempts to equate the word Ase with the Biblical Amen.

Amen, in its Hebrew origin, means "truth" or "fact."

ÀṢẸ, on the other hand, is a command word.

It was from Anti Wura, Buroda Alani’s third wife, that I first heard how Ayinla Omowura died. Buroda Alani was our extended family uncle. And he had a television set. He was one of the three people privileged to own television set in the whole of Itakogun, Ile-Ife in the
late 70s/early 80s. Baba Deyeba – father of Chief Alex Duduyemi, the famous Aro of Ife; and Baba Lawal – father of my aburo, now a brilliant lawyer, Ibrahim Lawal, were the other two.
Buroda Alani’s house was thus a sort of mecca for all the neighbourhood children.
