I'm going to mostly be LISTENING to it while I work, but I can already see why they'd need an intimacy coordinator.
So, wait, she "gave him something to calm down"?
The bad thing is that this COULD have grown into a wholesome polyamorous relationship... if she wasn't a predator who drugged him (seriously! Drugged him!) & lovebombed the HELL out of him.
The most powerful, well-connected couple in Evangelicalism, wanted an escape from the legalism they helped perpetuate.
They were hungry & greedy & powerful.
Ugh.
Oh no...look,NO ONE should trust a 20yro's business acumen.
Not because they aren't smart, but because they aren't SEASONED.
Just imagine what it COULD have been like if the Falwells were like, "Hey, we promoted stuff that doesn't really work. We were wrong. We're leaving Liberty."
They were RECORDING him?!?!?
"Have fun w/your little girlfriend, but we own your ass."
(That's a quote from Mark Ebner, who wrote a book about this)
For the record, I have no desire to be polyamorous. However, my sister has been in a polyamorous family for 5+ years now. It's *really working* for her, & I'm happy for her. I did consider polyamory exactly once, w/an ace person, w/the assumption of a platonic partnership, so.
Just don't slide into this middle aged fat woman's DMs, lol, okay?
These are horrible, controlling, manipulative ppl.
And...oh crap he already loved Trump?
Shit, they actually had an employer rescind a job offer.
They took his stake in the hostel that started it all.
They were trying to leave him with nothing, & keep him dependent on them.
"My dad said he'd rather be a king maker than a king."
Giancarlo's last straw was realizing, after the debacle of 2020, the pandemic, George Floyd's murder, & 45's response to BLM, Falwell could kingmake again,
& he decided to speak out.

Yesterday, #TheVulcan & I went back to the home of the family who was liquidating their grandfather's woodworking tools, to help him through Hurricane Ida.
As we talked to the family, I realized one reason why he had SO MANY unique tools:
He used to work for Bethlehem Steel.
The legs alone on this ^^^table are HUGE, & very HEAVY.
Thank goodness it's on wheels, or we never would have made it into the basement.
Bethlehem Steel was one of the largest ship builders & steel producers *in the world*.
