1/ Regarding #PandemicAmnesty. Much strife was inflicted during the pandemic by bad policy--when many of us were warning of these harms. Claiming ignorance thus rings hollow. I am in favor of reconciliation and healing, but this needs to be facilitated by truth & responsibility.
2/ We should look to the truth and reconciliation commission model that worked for social healing in South Africa after apartheid and Rwanda after the genocide. Reconciliation was possible only after a public acknowledgment of the truth, a public acknowledgment of the harms...
3/ ...and willingness to rectify the harms to the extent possible. As a follower of Christ, I desire societal reconciliation and healing. But we can’t leapfrog over the truth phase. That would not be forgiveness and reconciliation but merely sweeping the carnage under the rug.
4/ Without this process--which is VERY difficult--we get the following outcome, which only compounds the harms and escalates the social divisions...
1/ Regarding the publication and dissemination of scientific research, there is need for major reforms. Many specialized areas of scientific research involve a small community of researchers, where the same senior academics peer review papers for publication, serve as editors...
2/... at the most prestigious journals, review NIH grant requests, vote on promotion for academic colleagues, and write letters of recommendation for colleagues seeking tenure at other intuitions.
3/ The concept of peer-review sounds sensible enough; but there are serious downsides to the current system. As it is now configured, the same small group of senior researchers often act as gatekeepers for all the avenues necessary for academic advancement in science:
Another study to remind us that our jab-first-ask-questions-later mass vaccination campaign was reckless and irresponsible. JAMA Pediatrics: two-thirds of lactating women excreted mRNA from vaccine in their breastmilk. jamanetwork.com/journals/jamap…
That only trace amounts of mRNA was detectable is not necessarily reassuring, since we know that small amounts of mRNA can transcribe large amounts of spike protein.
Authors also didn't discuss potential issue of oral tolerance in infants...
Our immune systems typically learn to ignore what we eat so we won’t develop food allergies or chronic gastrointestinal inflammation. If infants develop tolerance to spike protein, this could impair their ability to fight off future infections w/ covid or other coronaviruses.
“Devotees of the deity, Public Health, on the other hand, know nothing but care. At its command, they mask and double mask. They jab and triple jab. They consume their daily digest of "case" and death statistics… douglasfarrow.substack.com/p/anarchy-from…
“They accept confinements and lockdowns, sacrificing their rights and freedoms on its altar. They fear and avoid and vilify their neighbours, even family and friends. They ruin their financial and political economies, stunt the development of their own children…
“…accepting alike the known and unknown side-effects of all these careful actions. Once they were healthy, even careless. Now they are unhealthy in their attempt to stay healthy; or rather, they are striving to regain the health they lost by merely fearing its loss….
In a scientistic-technocratic regime, the naked individual—reduced to “bare biological life,” cut off from other people and from anything transcendent—becomes completely dependent on society.
The human person, reduced to a free-floating, untethered, and uprooted social atom, is more readily manipulated.
Scientism is even more opposed to tradition than communism, because in Marxist ideology we still find messianic and biblical archetypes dimly represented in the promise of a future utopia.
So it's okay to discuss this now? 'Cause last year this would get you booted from Twitter.
Last year's heresy is poised to become this year's orthodoxy?
OAS was an accepted, uncontroversial theory about viral evolution prior to covid. Then suddenly it was verboten. Now apparently it's acceptable to discuss again. What kind of media environment operates like this? What kind of "scientists" refuse to object?
1/ In arguing for the recognition of natural immunity in our public health policies, my lawsuit against the University of California is not just challenging sloppy interpretations of science, it is also challenging a degraded philosophy of medicine.
2/ The mRNA vaccination program, with its calls for frequent boosters as vaccine efficacy rapidly wanes, suggests a mechanistic view of human beings as mere hardware that requires software updates two or three times a year to remain functional.
3/ Indeed, it is no accident that this technology is pushed by people like Bill Gates, who literally think that biological viruses are like computer viruses which can be stopped with the right antivirus mRNA “software.”
