Fancier versions of Debug.Trace, with:

- pretty-printing values, with or without colour
- enabling debug output with --debug
- multiple debug verbosity levels
- sending output to stderr or a file
- logging based on program name
- short and memorable function names
- easy in pure code, IO, and program startup

2/n

Uses #hledger 's github.com/simonmichael/h…:

- Pretty-formatting haskell values (using pretty-simple)
- pretty-printing to console
- deciding if ANSI colour should be used - detecting an -o/--output-file option.
