Loudest cheer from the supporters behind for BN candidate Khairy Jamaluddin and PH candidate Ramanan.
There's a strong presence of PH supporters outside the nomination centre.

Former Sungai Buloh MP R.Sivarasa is also part of the crowd today. He says he came to support PH candidate R.Ramanan, but noted that he will not join the campaigning in order to focus on his health.
BN candidate Khairy Jamaluddin attracted a huge crowd of supporters today at Sungai Buloh.

Khairy says the 7 cornered fight for the seat will be the toughest he's ever faced in his career.

Independent candidate at Sg.Buloh Syed Abdul Razak came in Phua Chu Kang boots for nomination saying he's preparing for #UndiBanjir & wants to solve flood related issues in the area via his manifesto.

He says his tagline is - Rakyat biasa jadi MP.

"Saya bukan orang kayangan."
Syed says the top battle in Sg.Buloh will be between him & BN's Khairy Jamaluddin, citing he's a local & his multilingual skills will give him the advantage.

"Saya rasa calon bebas boleh menang kali ini selepas Langkah Sheraton. Kita tinggalkan semua orang kerajaan tebuk atap."

1. PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli alleges that several caretaker ministers are trying to award contracts worth billions of ringgit via direct negotiations.

Rafizi says this also involves the Environment and Water Ministry and a flood mitigation project worth RM2 billion. Image
2. The former Pandan MP claims that the project which is in the process of being awarded by KASA, is for phase 2 for a flood barrier at Sungai Langat.

This is allegedly the second project awarded the company, with the first being a project in Melaka worth almost RM579 million.
3. Rafizi also claims that the company was problematic, and had links to a figure close to Umno.

"This company has two bankruptcy petitions in court for not paying debts to contractors as per CCM records."

1. Pakatan Harapan has pledged to bring back its loan-guarantee programme for first-time house buyers, if it forms the next federal government in GE15.

PH introduced the scheme when it formed the government back in 2018, with RM1 billion allocated then. Image
2. Bukit Gasing assemblyman Rajiv Rishyakaran says PH will allocate RM3 billion this time, which will act as a guarantee for banks giving out the loans.

He also said PH will form a housing tribunal for landlords/tenants to file complaints on discrimination in the rental market.
3. "A tribunal would be superior to filing a case in court as the tribunal fees is cheaper. Tribunals also don’t require lawyers, saving thousands of ringgit in legal fees," Rajiv said.

"Tribunals are also more likely to come up with a verdict quickly," he added.

1. Lab-grown blood has been transfused into people in a world-first clinical trial conducted by UK researchers.

They say the manufactured blood cells were grown from stem cells, adding that the goal is to improve treatments for patients who depend on regular blood transfusions. Image
2. This includes those with conditions like sickle cell anemia and thalassemia.

The trial is led by NHS Blood and Transplant and the University of Bristol.

Two volunteers have so far been transfused with the blood. There have not been any reported negative side-effects.
3. At least 10 healthy volunteers are expected to participate in the trial. They will get two mini transfusions, just 5 to 10 ml, at least four months apart.

One transfusion will be of normal blood while the other will be lab-grown blood.

1. Perikatan Nasional will declare Nov 20 a public holiday for Kedah, Kelantan, Terengganu & Johor, and Nov 21 for other states if it wins GE15.

"This will allow voters from other states to come out to vote without needing to apply for holiday," said PN chairman Muhyiddin Yassin
2. Muhyiddin said this as he unveiled PN's 234 offers in a manifesto themed 'Caring, Clean & Stable: Malaysia Gemilang'.

1. Twitter is reaching out to dozens of employees it just fired and asking them to come back, according to Bloomberg.

The company recently sacked around 50% of its 7,500 employees, following Elon Musk's $44 billion acquisition. Image
2. Musk earlier tweeted that the mass layoffs were necessary, as the company was losing more than $4 million per day.

Many employees only realised they were sacked after their access to Slack and email systems were suddenly suspended.
3. According to Bloomberg, some of those being asked to come back were fired by mistake.

Others were laid off before the management realised that they were necessary to build the new features Musk is asking for.
