On November 4, a trial in the criminal case against 53-year-old resident of Dokshytsy Siarhei Hrybovich started at Vitsebsk Regional Court. 1/4
The political prisoner was arrested in early March 2022. After the arrest, the man was forced to be filmed in a “confession video,” in which he said that he had filled in a form in Telegram to go to fight in Ukraine against Russian troops.

He was charged under two articles of the Criminal Code:
• Art. 130 (inciting racial, national, religious or other social hatred);

• Art. 361-3 (participation in an armed formation or armed conflict, military actions, recruiting or preparing persons for such participation on the territory of a foreign state).

1) November 6, 15:15. A column of the Belarusian Armed Forces was moving from Mikashevichy (Luninets district) towards Slutsk along the R23 highway.

Illia was arrested on February 27, 2022 at around 22:00, when he went to a meeting with Homel residents, where enforcers were waiting for him.

Yury Hantsarevich, the journalist of Baranavichy publication Intex-press, who was sentenced to 2,5 years in prison for photos of military aircraft, was transferred to the Vitsebsk colony No. 3. @viasna96 reports that this happened on October 1, but has only become known now. 1/3
On July 14, the so-called Brest Regional Court sentenced the journalist to 2 years and 6 months of imprisonment in a penal colony.

In March, the political prisoner allegedly sent photos of “military aircraft located at the airfield of the 61st fighter aviation base, which is stationed in Baranavichy,” to Belarusian independent media.

The case of a Belarusian rail partisan, who was shot in the knees during the arrest, was sent to court, @viasna96 reports.
In March 2022, 40-year-old Vital Melnik allegedly set fire to a relay cabinet on the railway crossing Navasady-Barysau, disabling the alarm system. 1/3
After the arrest, the man who offered no resistance was purposefully shot in the knee joints. According to @viasna96, Vital now moves only on crutches in the detention center.
