- However, after being profitable for a year in 2009, they faced a loss of 1 crore, which led to them not being able to pay their employees' salaries.
- Then one day, while they were at an auto expo, they got the idea for an online portal for second-hand cars. They believed in the idea so much that despite the heavy losses, they started Cardekho within 2 weeks.
- Initially, with no marketing Cardekho became popular, and today it has more than 1 crore downloads on Play Store and App Store combined.
