I have made an account on Mastodon. I have not moved there yet, but the suspension of the ED of the CA @LeagueWomenVote suggests that Twitter is Musk's personal sandbox and no longer a tenable social media platform.

I had planned to stay on Twitter to fight for the public square, but Musk openly endorsing Republicans, suspending people who mocked him while pointing out the problem with selling blue checks, and suspending a League of Women voters account...all in a day. Manchild is manchild.

I will keep the #RepublicanSexualPredators going no matter what. I have it in a public google doc, on Daily Kos, and will post it on other social media as well. Something I have been working on after seeing long-time accounts suspended.

I intend to keep it here, too, as long as I can. I am not deleting my account. I will still try to be present, but I am disgusted beyond belief by the actions of the filth who bought this platform. No, Elon, you can't buy respect.
