Do you believe that a world of abundance is possible where everyone has access to free saftey nets (basic human rights): medical care, unlimited free access to higher education, free housing (what about all the abandoned homes ?), free food.. basic universal income... Santa lyfe. 
WHERE the vast majority would still also perfer to WORK on creating & producing useful innovative products for wages that gives them access to ideas & creativity (?)
Why is enhancing Capabilities wrong when the point is: "We the Ppl" (?)

A person working modestly on helping their community, probably doesn't want be a super wealthy owner of a multi billion dollar cooperation, but does that mean that person doesn't do service to humanity (?) That person is the backbone lifting up the heavy weight.
Ever been care-working cleaning up elderly diapers, or being a hospice worker holding peoples hands as they passed, or a case worker trying to help people after trauma, & situations they need extra hands (?) Do these people not deserve wages which allow them rest & self-care (?)
It really shouldn't be a debate. Its HOW..& working together as a #civilization w/ a common goal, while intelligently processing technology in our realties; re-vamping our Capabilities in order to have a functioning technologically advanced society.

There are things that need adressed.
Anyone who returns to work after 3 or even 6 months of having a child is a freaking superhero.
Any1 who does support a full year is absolutely against CAPABILITIES REGARDING how important that connection is & family, which are Capabilities.

I am including fathers in this senerio which is important too, esp for relationships.
But equally important... the single parents who do it alone with one income.

We should address many matters as a technologically advanced society, esp as innovation role models to the rest of the world.
