So yesterday CEO Sridhar Vembu announced that @Zoho has crossed $1 Billion in Annual revenue. It's big because it's an Indian company to do so.
Here's a short story about Zoho and why it has been able to cross the $1 Billion mark: 👇🏻🧵
Sridhar Vembu and Tony Thomas started Zoho in 1996 but their real journey began in 2009 when they launched their first CRM software.
After entry into CRM, documents, and email marketing, Zoho faced big competitors like Google, Microsoft, and Hubspot but defeated them with 3 simple strategies:
🚀Zoho spends 60% of its revenue on the research and development of its products.
🚀 Zoho is an Indian company, hence they can provide software and services for much cheaper rates than their competitors.
🚀 Zoho's 50+ software products can be integrated with almost every app and software in the world, including their own software.
With these strategies, today Zoho has 50+ software products and 8 crore+ users which helped them cross the $1 Billion Revenue mark.
We at @WillstarMedia, use Zoho's CRM Software too and it has really helped the productivity of our organization.
