And that when we have an official public meeting, appropriate County staff will be present.

Public member asking why anyone would work for county for low level, pay, benefits, when it’s a 3 year position. And pushes that County pays 25% under market rate.

Emily notes that there is a study underway to see how County compensation rates/compares.

And that the 3 year positions are reasonable for these types of positions.

Joe states that he’s heartened that we are going to be getting dedicated staff for these roles rather than planning/etc. splitting their roles & responsibilities.

Same guy is asking about how not functional the County site is. Broken links , etc.

I asked that it would be good to see how the new staff are being onboarded, that it would be good to know what projects are submitted, timelines, etc.

Joe talking about long range nature of how things work - CIP, smart scale, how things interact, and instill in community to get involved earlier.
