Montclair is in the appeal period and *may* appeal the stream thing.

There is ongoing work in many depts that will hopefully prevent further such occurrences (conflict b/t state, fed, County in the middle)

Apparently the owners of the Vue are now planning to install trees in November.

Sandy - is there a penalty for not abiding by their site plan?

Ann - I think they have bonds for the trees. One of the citizen frustrations is the timeline for problems solved

Lonnie Murray - sooner than later Albemarle should have a tree commission the way Charlottesville does. We’re still planting invasive species.

From a horticultural perspective, planting small trees can be good.

The biggest challenge is easements … while the trails may be on the Master Plan, that doesn’t mean the County has easements for the trails (good lord)
