Now, Robin Waddell, of Greenbelt, introduces his company and how they take on and manage green spaces in #NewCommunities across the UK...
'We make sure that obligations set out in S106 really are discharged by the developer,' says Waddell. 'We think the S106 schedules should be more prescriptive.'
Robin Waddell now talking about Greenbelt's role in the #NewCommunity at #Northstowe. Very important that all the necessary info is handed over from the developer to the organisation that will eventually manage the site...
At #Northstowe this has been achieved by embedding 'user manuals' (eg for #SuDS, landscapes, etc) are into S106 agreements.
And Greenbelt is now aligning with @BuildWithNature to ensure high standards for new green spaces and ensure a high quality for the future.
