What struck me most about the timeline in Pence’s excerpt is he intentionally omits the part when he waited until RIGHT before joint session convened to release his letter confirming he wouldn’t interfere in electoral vote count.
claims, he had no plan to do anything if the sort, why did he wait until the last minute to publicly say so? Why not issue letter that morning or on Jan 5? His last minute punt after teasing he might do something really agitated the crowd that day. (Harsh videos condemning…
Pence have been used as evidence against Jan 6 defendants.)
I never thought the Pence move was doable. That said, he delayed his announcement—which wasn’t even necessary—until the last minute for maximum political impact. Not sure who in GOP outside Dispatch/NR this appeals to.

While you were sleeping after Election Day, feds filed formal indictment against David DePape, Paul Pelosi attacker.
Contrary to earlier reports and what SF DA said, now it appears that police opened the door of the home"
I am pretty sure this hasn't been reported either?
If I recall correctly, the first (or second or third) said Mr Pelosi opened the door and they both had hand on hammer--nothing about being on the floor
I mean, I'm no cop or federal prosecutor (thank God) but this seems like a rather short summary of an interview with a victim in an indictment against an attacker charged with attempted kidnapping of a federal official. But I'm sure we'll learn more as time goes on...
Let’s review the insane mail-in ballot rules in various states.
Wayyy back when I was a GOP precinct committeeman, obtaining, processing, and submitting absentee ballot was sacrosanct. (Also required part of duties).
This is some bullsh*t right here:
For the “safe and secure!” election believers esp at “conservative” outlets, explain this joke process.
Exactly who is handling mail-in ballots a month before Election Day in CA? Who’s watching? What’s the oversight process?
I’ll remain an “election denier” until I get answers:
Joe McBride to me: "The judge acknowledged difficulties with Ryan preparing for trial and access to his discovery. His release is for limited exception of being able to prepare for trial at home...so he can digest the voluminous digital information related to his case."
Deleted tweet on DNC HQ on Jan 6. Working to confirm video was shot that day—quite certain it was—and I’ll repost when I get official confirmation
This is the video—from people in capital on January 6. Question is what time (before, after bomb detected) but still raises a TON of questions either way.
If it’s before bomb detected, Q is how did so many cops, Secret Service miss it since FBI claims it was planted night of Jan 5. If it was after, where is bomb squad and why would police allow anyone in the vicinity?
As @DarrenJBeattie continues to report, story doesn’t add up.
I am covering Biden's angry pre-election speech so you don't have to.
He starts off with allegations about Paul Pelosi attack.
"Threatened to break her kneecaps."
Assailant asked "where's Nancy," the same words used on January 6, Biden says.
Gallows, mob, blah blah.
Me: No better way to totally discredit the legitimacy of the Pelosi investigation than by Biden calling a last-minute speech to repeat media, DOJ, SF DA talking points without evidence.
"In this moment we have to confront those lies with the truth."
"I speak today from Capitol Hill, the citadel of our democracy." LOL no
"I appeal to all Americans to meet this moment of national and generational importance. We must vote knowing who we have been, who we are risk of becoming."
