4. In 2013, after I left Scientology, I filed a missing person's report with the LAPD on Shelly.
By the time I filed the report, it had been nearly eight years since I had seen or heard from Shelly.
5. At Tom Cruise's wedding to Katie Holmes in 2006, I was shocked when Shelly wasn't with her husband, David Miscavige.
Tom's wedding was dubbed "the wedding of the century" in Scientology. It was the most critical event for top Scientologists.
6. Shelly was always with her husband. She was his shadow, not only because she was married to him but also because she was his top aide.
For her not to be in attendance was not only unusual but also unimaginable.
7. When I asked where Shelly was, Tommy Davis, Tom Cruise and David Miscavige's henchman told me, "you don't have the fucking rank to ask about Shelly."
I was subjected to months of cruel interrogations and reprogramming for the "high crime" of asking where Shelly was.
8. My letters to Shelley had all gone unanswered. I couldn't reach her by phone either.
So when I left Scientology, my first goal was to try and find Shelly.
I filed a missing person's report through a friend I knew at the LAPD.
9. Hours after I filed the missing person's report, the case was closed, and the LAPD announced to the press that they had found Shelly.
This news was released first to the press, not to me, who filed the report.
I learned about all of this from the media, not from the LAPD.
10. When I asked if detectives had spoken to or had seen Shelly themselves, I was told that was "classified" by the LAPD.
11. I was told to file a public record request if I wanted further information. I spent $50k in attorneys fees filing various requests. My requests for information from the LAPD were shut down.
I still don't know anything about the circumstances of this investigation.
12. Scientology has always done a great job at ingratiating itself with law enforcement despite being experts in obstructing justice.
13. Scientology hires off-duty LAPD cops as security and donates to LAPD charities.
All while instructing their members never to help any criminal investigations involving Scientologists and making it a high crime within Scientology to report Scientologists to law enforcement.
14. When I met with Cory Palka about Shelly, he had a letter on his desk thanking him for all his help with Scientology matters and inviting him to come and have lunch, as a guest, at the Celebrity Center.
15. I was so alarmed by Cory's closeness with Scientology I even offered to personally double any donations they made to LAPD charities if he wouldn't accept donations from them.
Cory was incredibly dismissive.
16. Take a look at these emails, obtained by @TonyOrtega94, that Cory exchanged with Scientology officials.
Look how helpful Cory is to Scientology.
Look how friendly their relationship is.
17. Cory even assigned a particular detective who could personally handle Scientology's complaints!
He also agreed to help introduce them to the Detroit Chief of Police!
This is unheard of!
18. LAPD Lieutenant Andre Dawson, the detective in charge of my missing person's report into Shelly Miscavige, also has a cozy relationship with Scientology.
Here he is speaking at Scientology's celebrity center at an event about human trafficking!
You can't make it up!
19. Cory Palka also allowed Scientology to setup an "informational kiosk" at the LAPD Hollywood division.
Here's what it looked like...luckily it was quickly taken down.
20. An investigation must be opened into Cory's relationship with Scientology and the LAPD's interactions with Scientology overall.
And the LAPD must not attend Scientology events anymore or accept their funds.
WHERE IS SHELLY???

Missing some Tweet in this thread? You can try to
force a refresh
1. It's been nearly one month since I respectfully requested a meeting with Los Angeles Police Chief Michel Moore. I have not even received a form letter in response to my request.
As you can see, I tweeted this request and shared it on other platforms. The request was sent to… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
2. Today we learned more about LAPD’s corrupt relationship with Scientology.
There was an evidentiary hearing in the rape case of celebrity Scientologist Danny Masterson.
Weeks ago, we learned that Scientology’s lawyer Vicki Podberesky had revealed that she had highly… twitter.com/i/web/status/1…
3. Judge Olmedo ruled that Danny’s previous criminal defense attorneys Tom Mesereau and Sharon Appelbaum shared this info with Scientology and sanctioned them.
2. In the rape trial of celebrity Scientologist Danny Masterson this morning, the Los Angeles District Attorney's office revealed that Scientology has covertly obtained a significant amount of criminal discovery materials.
3. Scientology has no reason to have criminal discovery materials in its possession.
No reason at all.
Scientology, which SHOULD be a co-defendant in this trial, has repeatedly lied, saying it has no covert involvement in this trial.
1. Today I attended the opening arguments in the rape trial of celebrity Scientologist Danny Masterson.
I attended to show my support for the women who were not only brutally raped by Danny but then subjected to years of harassment by Scientology.
2. Before opening arguments began, Danny's Scientology-controlled lawyers tried to get the judge to throw me out of the courtroom based on the false premise that they had planned to call me as a witness in the trial.
3. First, I am not on the witness list for the prosecution.
Second, this shows how threatened Scientology is by the truth.
1. So why has Scientology's leader David Miscavige disappeared his wife, Shelly?
The reason is simple: no one is a more significant threat to David and Scientology than Shelly.
Shelly could take David and Scientology down.
2. That's why David has done everything in his power to disappear Shelly with the help of the LAPD and other law enforcement agencies who have colluded with Scientology and looked the other way.
3. To understand why Shelly has this power, you first must understand her role in Scientology from age 12.
And you must understand what role Scientology and L. Ron Hubbard, the founder of Scientology, have played in her life.
1. @winstonscho, a reporter for @THR, has erroneously reported on the upcoming retrial of the Danny Masterson rape case.
2. Today, there was a hearing on the retrial.
Nothing about Scientology's extensive and well-documented involvement in covering up Danny Masterson's history of being credibly accused of rape was discussed in the hearing today.
3. Los Angeles Deputy DA Mueller has never indicated that Scientology's criminal involvement would be presented less frequently in the retrial.
In his reporting, Cho doesn't cite or identify the date of this filing that he's referring to.
1. Did you know that if you are a Scientologist, you are forbidden from contacting law enforcement when another Scientologist has committed a crime against you?
If you do, you will be declared a suppressive person and lose your family, friends, and livelihood overnight.
2. I'm sharing this with you because there is a criminal trial going on right now that is not getting enough attention on social media.
Actor and Scientologist Danny Masterson is on trial in Los Angeles on charges of raping multiple women.
3. First, let me explain how Scientologists are controlled.
Scientology's policies, written by founder L. Ron Hubbard, can never be altered and must be interpreted literally, allowing this criminal org to control members and insulate itself from bad PR.
