This is the perfect example of what is wrong with the @MIGOP. It’s an issue of leadership - Ron Weiser, Meshawn Maddock, and Paul Cordes all refuse to take ownership for their own failures.

It’s easy to come out and point fingers now, but the truth is they fought against me every step of the way and put the entire ticket at risk. We need fresh leadership at the @MIGOP or Republicans will never have a voice in Michigan again.

Our state party failed on Let MI Kids Learn and Secure MI Vote. Because of their failure, we now have Prop 2. We have to do better than this current incompetent leadership.

I want to take a minute and thank every person that has joined our movement. To the folks with us from Day 1, to the multitude of Michiganders we've seen across the state, your support means the world to me and @hernandez4ltgov. 🧵

I truly believe that with the right vision, we can get our state back on track, protect the future for our children, and make Michigan a safe place for everyone. We can do all of this without disturbing your freedoms and liberties.

When I started this journey, it was to ensure a better future for my girls and for every child in Michigan. That motivation hasn't changed but has only been enhanced by the thousands of families I've listened to for well over a year that share my same concerns.

Gretchen Whitmer is putting up a false front that she cares about MI students. In reality, she contributed to the dramatic decline of reading and subject proficiency scores in our state. Here’s how she failed MI students🧵

Gretchen Whitmer ordered all schools to close, locking students out of classrooms and away from success.

After the MI Supreme Court deemed she could no longer issue executive orders to close schools, Whitmer said she ‘disagreed’ with the ruling. bridgemi.com/michigan-gover…

Then, in April of 2021, Whitmer announced during a press conference that she wanted schools to close again, without any warning or communication to the schools.

Gretchen Whitmer declared she supported defunding police on June 9, 2020, just months after she deemed many Michiganders “non-essential” and threw them out of work. It was a recipe for what countless residents are experiencing today.

When people were told they were “non-essential” and could not work, residents grew desperate to get their hands on anything of value just to survive.
