The Hon. Chairman INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu and members of the Commission met with leaders of political parties to discuss matters relating to the upcoming #NigeriaDecides2023 election.

The Electoral Institute (TEI) of INEC with support from @IFESNigeria has developed an e-learning website and App called INEC E-SCHOOL. The goal of the platform is to enhance the overall effectiveness of electoral training. play.google.com/store/apps/det…
2. The system is built to provide a cutting-edge experience of electoral training using face-to-face, and virtual approaches by integrating text-based, audio, and videos.
3. The website is a user-friendly platform with courses for SPO, APO/PO and CO deliberately intended to enhance the capacity of poll workers, INEC staff, and the public.

2. The Fourth Estate of the realm is the Media and its roles (duties, functions and responsibilities) towards sustenance of our democratic experience in Nigeria cannot be over emphasized.
3. The Commission is saddled with the responsibility of conducting elections in the country has engaged the Media as a critical partner and stakeholder in order to give the widest audience the necessary voter awareness and sensitization.

2. The fundamental challenge of any Election Management Body (EMB) is to be able to offer free, fair and credible elections.
3. Manual processes are known to be prone to manipulations, human interventions & fraud, hence the need to apply technology to:
✓reduce human interference
✓produce credible processes
✓produce results from processes in a timely manner
✓to improve the accuracy of the Processes
