13 years ago, condemned for its violent response to protest, UC adopted new, more humane policies. Faced with the largest anti-war movement in years, it changed them back. Now UAW 4811 members are striking over this serious ULP and others. 🧵

Last week, UC returned to the California Public Employment Relations Board (PERB) to ask for an injunction against our ULP strike. Yesterday, PERB once again ruled that our strike can continue, and issued a thorough complaint against the university’s serious ULPs. 2/

For the last eighteen years, Gaza has been the site of an escalating humanitarian calamity. Walled in by the Israeli occupation, more than two million Palestinians in the most densely-populated place on earth struggle to make a life amid bombing, deprivation, and joblessness.
It is only natural that the international working class would take up the cause of the Palestinian people in Gaza.
