Since, Nov 14 - a US backed terrorist group #TPLF launched countless minor - major attacks, however fighting increased sharply when #TPLF seized aba-ala ( internationally recognized humanitarian corridor). 2/n

And advanced toward Megale, kunneba, Dalol, Erebti & Berehale including places where thousands of afaris were internally displaced & faced dire humanitarian conditions. 3/n

The central government reluctance or Incapabillity to halt terrorists advances toward s'erdo puts #Afar pastorist on a disadvantage to defend themselves, & continued to challenge operations against the invader #TPLF. 4/n

The US backed #TPLF have also committed unlawful attack against ABA-ala detention center - killing and injuring dozens of detainees and security force's beside liberation of sentenced captives. 6/n

Furthermore, #TPLF forces uses landmines, in violation of international humanitarian law causing dozens of civilians death, According to afar health bureau, they received 50-60 casualties per week mainly children's - of anti-personnel landmine related injuries. 7/n

The protracted conflict has a devastating impact on civilian across the country, from destroyed infrastructure to lack of fuel and basic services even so fragmented governace. 8/n

We urge @PMEthiopia @AbiyAhmedAli to facilitate the necessary humanitarian needs #Afarsuffering dearly deserved.
