being fans of this ship is connected to the LACK of REPRESENTATION IN MEDIA we have in this country. We're not pushing Darna to be GL, but rather for the media to recognize that sapphic characters EXIST OUTSIDE THE GL category. You dont need to watch a gl film to see lesbians +
& bisexual women (or in a more general sense: women who loves women). Dont fucking lecture me about homophobia if you haven't even experienced it yourself, dude. Lesbian/sapphic erasure in media is real. And that speaks a lot about the state of homophobia in our country.
