#JiujiuandALing (#XiCheng) 💡

JL sat on his bed, a thin book placed beside him. He was already wearing his yellow onesie, and half of his body was already under the blanket.

He was hugging a fluffy chick stuffed toy, as he waited for his Jiujiu to come home.

"Hey little one, why are you still up?" LXC smiled softly at JL as he sat down at the edge of the boy's bed.

"Waiting fo Joo."

"Your Jiujiu called, he said he'd be home late... How about I read your bedtime story for tonight?"

JL crossed his arms and firmly shook his head.

"No! A-Ling wait for Joo. Joo aways reads A-Ling bed time stowy."

LXC could only sigh, he knew the little boy was just as stubborn as his uncle.

"Can I stay here? I'll wait for your Jiujiu with you."

JL thought about it for a second. Well, Jiujiu did say he loves

Xichen, BUT NOT MORE THAN A-LING OF COURSE!

"Hmm, okay, but joo will read ME a stowy."

LXC chuckled, he knew how much A-Ling wanted to keep his uncle close to him and him only.

"Okay, can I sit next to A-Ling?"

JL nodded his head as he moved the book from beside him onto his

lap.

"What story is that?" LXC asked, he wanted to get closer to the boy and this was one of the rare moments that they get to talk.

"It's about cat and chick, and they face monstews togethew," JL replied enthusiastically.

Ah yes, the story about the cat and the chick, LXC

has heard it a million times over. It is JL's favorite story after all.

They both waited for JC to come home.

Even though JL was starting to yawn, he didn't let the sleep get to him. He had to wait for his Jiujiu!

After a few more minutes, JC finally arrived.

He went straight to JL's room and he saw how JL's sleepy eyes suddenly went wide with excitement.

He was greeted by a big hug from his nephew.

"Aiya it's past your bedtime, why are you still up."

"Hmp! Joo not home yet! A-Ling can't sweep!"

JC only chuckled and shook his head

LXC left them to have their alone time as he prepared some tea for JC.

It didn't take long for JL to fall asleep as the little boy was already very sleepy.

"He takes after you a lot you know," LXC said as JC sat down in front of him, taking the purple mug on the table.

"How come?"

"He's just as stubborn as you, and also as possessive as you."

"You love me for all those things."

"Hmmm maybe if you read me a bed time story."

"What are you 5?"

"Yes."

JC laughed at that. Sometimes he wonders if he actually has two nephews.
